    • PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND THAT THE FOLLOWING CODES: P0AC4 MIL REQUESTED BY HPCM P0AB9 EV SYSTEM PERFORMANCE WE CLEARED THESE CODES AND DROVE THE VEHICLE 4 TIMES FOR OVER 20 MILES. EVEN THOUGH THE FULL ELECTRIC HAS BEEN USED, THE ENGINE STARTS AND RUNS NORMALLY. WE CHECKED THE 12V BATTERY, AS THIS IS KNOWN AS A POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. THE BATTERY TECHNICALLY PASSED, BUT BARELY. AFTER DISCUSSING WITH CUSTOMER, IT WAS DECIDED TO REPLACE THE 12V BATTERY OUT OF AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION. REMOVE AND REPLACE 12V BATTERY.

    • PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE CONFIRMED THE CUSTOMER COMPLAINT. WE FOUND THE FOLLOWING CODES: P0019 CRANKSHAFT POSITION – EXHAUST CAMSHAFT POSITION NOT PLAUSIBLE BANK 2 P0024 EXHAUST CAMSHAFT POSITION SYSTEM PERFORMANCE BANK 2 WE CHECKED THE CAMSHAFT SOLENOIDS, FOUND THEY ARE ALL LEAKING. THESE SOLENOIDS CAN SHORT OUT INTERNALLY IF THEY LEAK ENGINE OIL. REMOVE THE THROTTLE BODY, REMOVE AND REPLACE ALL 4 CAMSHAFT SOLENOIDS, INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH NEW GASKET. RECHECK.

    • LUBRICATE AND CHECK CHASSIS. CHANGE OIL, USING SYNTHETIC OIL,CHANGE OIL FILTER. CHECK AIR FILTER AND BREATHER FILTER. CHECK ALL FLUID LEVELS AND TIRE PRESSURES. PERFORM BASIC SAFETY INSPECTION.
    • WE FOUND THE ABOVE CODE, OHM TESTED THE SOLENOID, SHOULD BE 10-30 OHM, THIS ONE WAS .1-.4 OHM. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE.
    • CLEAN AND LUBE THE CALIPER SUPPORTS AND THE SLIDE MECHANISMS. CLEAN AND LUBE THE CALIPER PINS. CLEAN THE MOUNTING SURFACE OF THE ROTOR TO ROTATING ASSEMBLY. REPLACE ANY NECESSARY HARDWARE, BOOTS OR PINS.
    • DURING OUR INSPECTION WE FOUND THAT THE BATTERY FAILED TESTING. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE BATTERY.
    • REPLACE THE REAR BRAKE PADS. REPLACE THE REAR BRAKE ROTORS. CLEAN AND LUBE THE CALIPER SUPPORTS AND THE SLIDE MECHANISMS. REPLACE THE HARDWARE KIT IF NECESSARY. CLEAN AND REPACK THE WHEEL BEARINGS AND REPLACE THE SEALS IF EQUIPPED. BLEED THE BRAKE IF NECESSARY. CHECK AND FILL THE BRAKE FLUID. TORQUE THE LUG NUTS AND TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE. NOTE: SUBSEQUENT OVER TORQUING OF THE LUG NUT CAN AND WILL DAMAGE THE BRAKE ROTOR(S). THIS WILL CAUSE PULSATION. WE USE A TORQUE BAR TO ENSURE THAT THE LUG NUT TORQUE IS CORRECT, EVERY TIME. IF THE LUG NUTS ARE OVER TORQUED, WE CANNOT WARRANTY THE PARTS, NOR THE LABOR. THIS IS AN EXCEPTION TO OUR 2YR/24K MILE WARRANTY.

    • DURING OUR INSPECTION WE FOUND THAT THE AIR FILTER WAS DIRTY. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE AIR FILTER.

    • REMOVE AND REPLACE CABIN AIR FILTER.
    • USING THE LATEST IN CLEANING TECHNOLOGY, THIS SERVICE IS INSTRUMENTAL IN KEEPING YOUR DIRECT INJECTED VEHICLE RUNNING IN TOP FORM. WE USE A CHEMICAL TREATMENT IN THE FUEL TANK. THIS IS FOLLOWED BY A FOAM CLEANER INTRODUCED THROUGH AN ENGINE VACUUM LINE. THIS FOAM HELPS BREAK DOWN POWER ROBBING CARBON THAT BUILDS UP IN YOUR ENGINE OVER TIME, BREAKING THE CARBON INTO VERY SMALL PIECES, WHICH IS THEN REMOVED THROUGH YOUR EXHAUST. THIS IS PERFORMED IN A MULTI-STAGE PROCESS, WHICH ENSURES THAT THERE IS NOT TOO MUCH CARBON REMOVED AT ONCE. AFTER THE VEHICLE IS AT TEMPERATURE, WE SLOWLY INTRODUCE THE FOAMING CLEANER, ABOUT A QUARTER OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT. WE THEN TURN OFF THE VEHICLE FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES TO LET IT SOAK AND WORK. THIS PROCESS REPEATS UNTIL THE BOTTLE IS EMPTY. AFTER THE ABOVE IS PERFORMED WE THEN USE A SIMILAR PROCESS TO INTRODUCE A RINSING AGENT INTO THE ENGINE. THIS ENSURES THAT WE GET ALL OF THE POSSIBLE CARBON REMOVED FROM THE ENGINE. LASTLY WE TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO ENSURE POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED.
    • PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND THE FOLLOWING CODES: P0300 ENGINE MISFIRE DETECTED P050D COLD START ROUGH IDLE SOME MISC ELECTRICAL CODES, WHICH WE CLEARED, NONE CAME BACK AS OF THIS TIME. WE FOUND THAT CYLINDER #5 WAS THE MAIN CULPRIT ON THE MISFIRES, ALTHOUGH WE DID HAVE OTHER CYLINDERS MISFIRING. WE CHECKED FOR HEAD GASKET DAMAGE, NONE FOUND. WE CHECKED THE FUEL INJECTOR PRESSURE DROP FOR EACH CYLINDER. WE FOUND THE FOLLOWING RESULTS: CYLINDER #1 24.3PSI (*) CYLINDER #2 33.4PSI (*) CYLINDER #3 27.9PSI CYLINDER #4 31.7PSI CYLINDER #5 23.9PSI (*) CYLINDER #6 36.1PSI (*) CYLINDER #7 26.5PSI (*) CYLINDER #8 32.4PSI THOSE MARKED WITH (*) TECHNICALLY FAIL THE PRESSURE DROP TEST. WE CHECKED THE SPARK PLUG AND IGNITION COIL FOR CYLINDER #5, FOUND NO ISSUE. RECOMMENDED FUEL INJECTION CLEANING, POSSIBLE CA

    • PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND THAT THE SPARK PLUGS WERE WORN. REMOVE AND REPLACE SPARK PLUGS.
    • REMOVE AIR DUCT, USE MANUFACTURER SPECIFIED CLEANING AGENT TO CLEAN THE THROTTLE BODY WITH BRUSHES. RELEARN COMPUTER AS NECESSARY RELEARN THROTTLE BODY COMPUTER SPECIFICATIONS.
    • DURING OUR INSPECTION WE FOUND THAT THE ENGINE OIL COOLER LINES WERE LEAKING. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE ENGINE OIL COOLER LINES. NOTE: WHEN THE VEHICLE CAME IN, THE OIL WAS NOT REGISTERING ON THE DIPSTICK.

    • PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND THAT THE BROKEN BOLT HAD 2 PILOT HOLES, BOTH OFF CENTER. THIS IS GOING TO MAKE DRILLING THIS OUT VERY DIFFICULT. WE HAVE TO REMOVE THE PILOT HOLES SO THAT ONE CAN BE CENTERED PROPERLY. WE WERE ABLE TO REMOVE THE BROKEN BOLT, BUT HAD ANOTHER BOLT BREAK ON THE SWAY BAR, WHICH WE REMOVED TO GET PROPER ANGLE ON THE BROKEN STARTER BOLT. WE REPAIRED THAT BOLT, INSTALLED NEW. WE INSTALLED A REMANUFACTURED STARTER. NOTE: THE DRIVER MID VEHICLE FRAME IS STARTING TO ROT OUT.
