- PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND THAT THE NOISE IS COMING FROM THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL. WE ATTEMPTED THE REMOVE THE CHECK PLUG TO SEE WHAT THE FLUID IS LIKE, BUT WE CANNOT GET THE CHECK PLUG OUT, FURTHER ATTEMPTS ARE LIKELY TO DAMAGE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT EASILY REPLACED. THAT SAID, THERE ARE NO EXTERNAL LEAKS AT THIS TIME, SO FLUID LEVEL IS LIKELY OK. THIS REAR DIFFERENTIAL UNIT HAS AN ELECTROMAGNETIC COUPLER ON THE FRONT OF THE UNIT. THIS COUPLER HAS A HIGH FAILURE RATE AND SINCE IT MUST BE REMOVED TO SWAP OVER TO THE NEW DIFFERENTIAL, IT IS VERY LIKELY GOING TO NEED TO BE REPLACED. WE ALSO NOTED THAT THE REAR U-JOINT HAS RUST COMING OUT OF IT, SO WE ARE RECOMMENDING REPLACING THE UNIT. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL, ELECTROMAGNETIC COUPLER, REAR DRIVESHAFT. FILL FLUID TO SPECIFICATIONS.

RECOMMEND REMOVE AND REPLACE SPARK PLUGS. NOTE: THE THROTTLE BODY IS DIRTY, WHICH WILL HAVE ITS OWN LABOR.
- PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE CONFIRMED THE CODE. WE MONITORED THE AIR/FUEL RATIO FOR BOTH UPSTREAM SENSORS. WE FOUND THAT THE BANK 1 SENSOR WAS SLOW TO RESPOND. THIS CODE RELATES TO THE SYNC ACCESSORY PROTOCOL INTERFACE MODULE AND OTHER MODULES IN THE VEHICLE. WE ATTEMPTED A SYSTEM RESET, DID NOT CORRECT THE ISSUE. PER THE DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE, WE CHECKED FOR UPDATES TO THE MODULE. DURING THIS PROCESS, WE DID NOT GET TOO FAR INTO IT, THE MODULE STOPPED WORKING ALTOGETHER. THE SCREEN DOES NOT FUNCTION. MOST LIKELY THE MODULE, ALREADY FAILING, GAVE OUT. WE ATTEMPTED TO PERFORM A SOFT RESET ON THE UNIT, BUT THIS DID NOT WORK. WE CHECKED THE FUSE FOR THE INFOTAINMENT, THE FUSE IS INTACT. MAY NEED TO TAKE TO DEALER, OR REPLACE THE APIM(ACCESSORY PROTOCOL INTERFACE MODULE).

THESE ARE USED WHEN THE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE FUSE BOX, THE RELOCATION KIT MEANS THAT THE WHOLE FUSE BOX DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REPLACED. INSTALL FUSE RELOCATION KIT.
