  • PER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT WE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND CODE P0128 THERMOSTAT RATIONALITY. WE CONFIRMED THE CONDITION, THE THERMOSTAT WAS FAILING. WE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT. FILLED AND BLED THE COOLING SYSTEM.
  • AS PART OF OUR REPAIR FOR THE CODE P0128, WE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
  • LUBRICATE AND CHECK CHASSIS. CHANGE OIL, USING SYNTHETIC OIL,CHANGE OIL FILTER. CHECK AIR FILTER AND BREATHER FILTER. CHECK ALL FLUID LEVELS AND TIRE PRESSURES. PERFORM BASIC SAFETY INSPECTION.
  • REPLACE THE FRONT BRAKE PADS. REPLACE THE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS. CLEAN AND LUBE THE CALIPER SUPPORTS AND THE SLIDE MECHANISMS.REPLACE THE HARDWARE KIT IF NECESSARY. CLEAN AND REPACK THE WHEEL BEARINGS AND REPLACE THE SEALS IF EQUIPPED. BLEED THE BRAKE IF NECESSARY. CHECK AND FILL THE BRAKE FLUID. TORQUE THE LUG NUTS AND TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE. NOTE: SUBSEQUENT OVER TORQUING OF THE LUG NUT CAN AND WILL DAMAGE THE BRAKE ROTOR(S). THIS WILL CAUSE PULSATION. WE USE A TORQUE BAR TO ENSURE THAT THE LUG NUT TORQUE IS CORRECT, EVERY TIME. IF THE LUG NUTS ARE OVER TORQUED, WE CANNOT WARRANTY THE PARTS, NOR THE LABOR. THIS IS AN EXCEPTION TO OUR 2YR/24K MILE WARRANTY.

NOTE: THERE WERE CODES IN ALL SYSTEMS FOR LOW VOLTAGE, BUT WE SEE NO REASON FOR THIS. NOTE: WE REMOVED THE BATTERY CABLES AND COMPLETELY RESET THE SYSTEM, PER A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN THIS CAN SOMETIMES CORRECT THIS ISSUE. NOTE: WE NOTED THAT THERE WAS A KEY FOB BATTERY WARNING, WE REPLACED THE BATTERY. NOTE: WE FOUND THAT IF YOU HIT THE START BUTTON TOO QUICKLY, OR WITHOUT ENOUGH FORCE, THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START OR CRANK.

WHEN WE CHECKED THE COOLING SYSTEM WE FOUND THAT THE HOSE CLAMP FOR THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE WAS NOT IN PLACE AND THE HOSE WAS OFF OF THE RADIATOR, AT THE RADIATOR SIDE. THERE IS COOLANT EVERYWHERE. WE INFORMED THE CUSTOMER, THEY INFORMED THE FACILITY, THE FACILITY IS HAVING THE VEHICLE TOWED BACK TO THEM. NOTE: THE CUSTOMER DROVE THE VEHICLE IN TO OUR SHOP. NOTE: THE VEHICLE HAD JUST HAD THE RADIATOR REPLACED, DUE TO A COLLISION. NOTE: WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND REPLACING THE HOSE CLAMP, REPLACING THE THERMOSTAT, SINCE WE DON'T KNOW HOW HOT IT REALLY GOT, FILLING AND BLEEDING. CHECK FOR HEAD GASKET DAMAGE, THIS HOWEVER, IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

  • Remove the Mass Airflow Sensor from the vehicle. Clean using a special cleaning agent. Reinstall the Mass Airflow Sensor. Relearn computer as necessary.
  • REMOVE AIR DUCT, USE MANUFACTURER SPECIFIED CLEANING AGENT TO CLEAN THE THROTTLE BODY WITH BRUSHES. RELEARN COMPUTER AS NECESSARY RELEARN THROTTLE BODY COMPUTER SPECIFICATIONS.
